- The Ministry of Railways has significantly accelerated infrastructure development in Maharashtra, with 38 major railway projects currently sanctioned across the state.
- As of March 2025, 2,360 km of this network has been commissioned, backed by a cumulative expenditure of Rs 39,407 crore, according to information provided by the Ministry of Railways.
- These include 11 new line projects, two gauge conversion efforts, and 25 doubling or multitracking projects. Together, they span a total length of 5,098 km.
- Between 2009 and 2014, the minister reported an average of 58.4 km of new railway tracks being commissioned annually, which increased to over 208 km between 2014 and 2025.

- Over the past decade, the Chandigarh city's installed renewable energy capacity has seen a nearly 18-fold increase, rising from 5 MW in 2014–15 to 90 MW by July 2025.
- Solar power is the foundation of renewable generation in the city. As of July 2025, solar power generation plants have been installed on 10,988 buildings across the city.
- Between March 31, 2024, and March 31, 2025, the number of government buildings with solar plants installed increased from 907 to 6,627, an addition of 25 MW in one year.
- The number of private buildings with solar power plants on March 31, 2024, was 3,794. After a year, it marginally increased to 4,361, implying an addition of only 2.8 MW.

- As per August 03, 2025, Gujarat recorded a sharp 50 per cent surge in solar power generation in FY 2024-25, emerging as the fastest-growing state in India in terms of annual increase.
- The state generated 20,219.48 million units (MUs) of solar electricity in FY25, up from 13,468.91 MUs in FY24, according to data tabled in Parliament by the Union ministry of new and renewable energy.
- Over just two years, Gujarat nearly doubled its solar output, which stood at 10,335.32 MUs in FY23, signalling its rapid transition to renewable energy. With this performance, the state now ranks second in the country in total solar power generation, behind Rajasthan, which recorded 49,101.62 MUs in FY25.

- On 29 july, 2025, Union Education Minister announced the establishment of 23 new hostels for tribal students and the development of 10 PM SHRI schools in Nagaland, one per district, during the fifth anniversary celebration of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in New Delhi
- The PM SHRI (Schools for Rising India) initiative, part of a 14,500-school national network, aims to transform selected government schools into centers of excellence with enhanced infrastructure, digital learning, and NEP 2020-aligned curricula, while the 23 hostels, under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), support tribal education.
- The virtual ceremony at Bharat Mandapam, streamed live, was attended in Kohima by Advisor Kekhrielhoulie Yhome and other officials at TM Government Higher Secondary School, marking a milestone in Nagaland’s education and tribal welfare efforts.

- On August 2, 2025, Jammu and Kashmir achieved 96.4% digital coverage of its courtrooms under the e-Courts Mission Mode Project, with 248 of 257 courtrooms under the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh equipped with IT infrastructure, including video conferencing and electronic display systems
- The region invested ₹14.53 crore in 2024–25 for courtroom IT upgrades, up from ₹6.52 crore the previous year, as part of the ₹7,210 crore national e-Courts Phase III (2023–2027), aiming for full digitization, e-filing, cloud infrastructure, and eSewa Kendras.
- The initiative enhances transparency and accessibility in J&K’s justice system, with plans for Online Dispute Resolution and paperless courts, building on the integration of over 23,000 courts nationwide into the e-Courts platform.

- On August 2, 2025, Andhra Pradesh launched the Annadatha Scheme, aimed at supporting farmers financially. Under the scheme, the state government will provide annual financial aid of ₹20,000 to each eligible farmer.

- On August 2, 2025, India launched the first four projects under the “India-UN Global Capacity Building Initiative” to help Global South nations achieve Sustainable Development Goals. The projects inaugurated by MEA Secretary (West) and are part of India’s broader development partnership efforts.
- In the first phase, the programme will help Nepal with rice fortification and supply chain management, supported by the World Food Programme, and also work on developing digital health platforms.
- India, under the ITEC framework, will begin training programmes from September 2025 in partnership with UN agencies. These include digital health platforms in Zambia and Laos with UNDP, census training in five Caribbean nations with UNFPA and vocational training in South Sudan with UNESCO.
